Through our nutrition program, the Verde Valley Senior Center continues to provide over 60,000 hot, home-delivered and congregate meals annually to our local senior population, veterans, home-bound and disabled citizens. Our Meals-On-Wheels program helps individuals remain independent and live their lives at home in dignity and comfort. Although partially funded by the Older Americans Act, SSBG and the State of Arizona, this only covers a small fraction of the cost to provide these services to our so often overlooked population throughout the Verde Valley community.
By making a tax credit donation to an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization, the State empowers its citizens to decide specifically where they want their tax dollars spent and allows us the freedom to choose where we see the greatest need.
We love to have folks stop by to visit and see what we’re all about so feel free to bring your donation in person to The Center located at 500 E Cherry Street. Don’t forget to specify 2016 AZ Tax Credit on your check, money order or PayPal donation. We will send you a personal thank you as a receipt for your contribution. Please consult your financial/tax adviser for further information.
We hope you will think carefully about this opportunity to assist our elderly, disabled and veteran neighbors in Cottonwood, Verde Village, Clarkdale, Cornville, Camp Verde, Verde Lakes, Rimrock, Beaver Creek, Lake Montezuma communities by making a tax credit donation to the Verde Valley Senior Center for 2016. If you are personally unable to contribute this year, please help us by sharing this information with your family, friends and neighbors. We sincerely thank you for your generous support.
